La vie luxe.

I would really like to post some photos of the yarn I dyed last week, but the digital camera is in Europe right now and won’t return for another week.

I finished the back of the High Neck Lace Top more than a week ago, but I feel like the shoulders are about an inch too short, so I need to frog and knit some more.  It’s very close to being finished!  I just need to motivate myself to do it.  I’ve um distracted myself with knitting the back of the Embellished V-Neck from the Fall 2006 Vogue Knitting.  I’m terrible, I know.  I’m using the yarn it calls for: Plymouth Yarns Suri Merino in raspberry.  mmmmmm merino & alpaca   This yarn is so soft and luxe.  I love it.  I want to wear it while doing something really decadent like imibibing in a Kir Royale Très Luxe: champagne with a touch of cassis and a little griotte (sour cherry) sitting at the bottom of the glass, while eating extremely rich chocolates and biting into succulent black cherries…   mmmmm

Lucas and I saw Borat on Friday. emoticon  I actually laughed my ass off and I was actually kind of shocked by some of the things in the movie.  Normally, I don’t really laugh or cry or get scared by movies.  Emotionally involved, I guess you would say.  I think my favorite part was the full out naked wrestling between Borat and his manager.  wow.
